Homeowner Lana Chase writes: "I moved here in May 2004 and love the neighborhood and the people I have met. Please come over to see my home. I bought it from the Braswell's who made many wonderful changes to the home including a mother-in-law suite in the garage and a new carport. I have the "El" home design. The Braswell's moved to Bowling Green Way in 1977 and raised their family in this home. They were gardeners and just did wonderful things with the landscaping. The sliding glass doors have been replaced with patio doors that really make quite an improvement in the living room and den. I think they were only the second owners.
Ms Chase's home features an addition to the left creating a large master suite, plus sun-room. The original garage has been converted into a mother-in-law suite with its own private entrance. A hall connects the suite with the rest of the house, enclosing the original breezeway with the removal of the usual ornamental brick. The backyard has been expanded with additional patio space, decking, arbor, pond and jacuzzi. A two-car carport has been added to provide shelter for this wonderful house's inhabitants. Truly one of Northcrest's gems.
Original to the house are the double fireplace hoods opening to opposite corner rooms, extended storage closets and vaulted ceilings. Ms Chase is also a welcome member of the Northcrest Hoe 'N Hope Garden Club.
